Today I listed to the My V M Team Blog Talk Radio show dated 7/21/08. They talked about free sites to build web sites and discussed forums in depth. They indicated how important that forums are in the world of Social Media Marketing, Social Networking, Team Virtual Marketing. All you have to do is listen and then take ACTION!
I didn't know they had free sites to help you build web sites - that goes to show you how inept I am on the computer. Also shows you how thrilled I can be to learn these new things. It just keep growing and growing.

What a Small World
Today I listened to blogtalkradio.com/googlemetalkradio - the show for 7/5/08. Jim and Don had as their guests Kathy Paquette & Linda Hoy Founders of http://BlogNut.CommunityToolbars.com. Isn't it wonderful these shows are recorded.
They talked about a new tool bar that will do everything but cook your dinner. This sounds like a very neat tool to have on your computer, especially if you are into Social Networking, Virtual Marketing or Free Advertising. I can't wait to get it installed and get it going. They said it will list all your email addresses and all your sites, like bookmarks. It will remember all the sites you have gone too and this will save you so much time - not having to try and remember where you have gone.
Also, they talked about one program - greeting cards. As I listened to them, an alarm went off. An AH Ha moment, if you will. I belong to this program and it IS Amazing. You just go to the site and download a picture you want to put on a card - one on the outside and one on the inside and a saying or a message on the 3rd page. They also have a card catalog you can pick cards from to send. They make up the card and send it out. Wau la, its done. The cards turn out as a memorable experience for both the sender and the recipient. I go to people's home that I have sent cards to and see the card on the mantel or the refrigerator all the time. The feeling is really special. You can see the appreciation and we all need to remember people on special days. I send out cards for birthdays, sympathy, Thank You and just to remember them. In Tune With Time Management
Today I listened to My Blog Talk Radio, http://www.blogtalkradio.com/myvmteam, Session May 16, 2008. This session was about time management - Yeah, I know this isn't good for my message about time management. It seems with vacations - mine and other people visiting me, I have fallen behind. But this session made me stop and think - I can start again today with my intention of being more timely and this made me feel OK. I can be successful.
Then I read the following in my email which seemed to coincide with the Blog Talk Radio session I had just listened too. This is from Neale Donald Walsch. I get a message from him every day and it seems to be calming for me. I hope you enjoy this one.

The Lesson I Learned Today
Yesterday I listened to Jim, Steph and Don on myvmteam.com, Blogtalkradio. As I reflect what I heard, I had an aw haw moment.
Over the last couple of years, I tried learning and doing on the internet on my own trying to supplement my retirement income. In doing that, I spent thousands of dollars and received very little return. This was a Hugh failure. No, not failure as I learned many ways on how NOT to do something.
I now realize how lucky I was to find myvmteam. I main points I came away with are: Find a TEAM - don’t go it alone; Find a TEAM you can TRUST - this isn’t easy. There are a lot of unscrupulous people on the internet - and participate following their instructions. This will allow you to become part of a family, not just an internet business.
Recently I have felt overwhelmed. Listening to this program, I learned there are 3 websites you should have bookmarked: 1. myvmteam.com, 2. myvmteam.net and
3. myvmteam.info. I was trying to make it way harder.

My Today's Internet Miracle
It happened today - a miracle. One definition of a Miracle is - “amazing event: an event or action that is totally amazing or unexpected".
I have been on vacation for 2 weeks and was so disappointed because I had missed some training sessions on My VMTeam. When I got home I found they had moved the sessions to www.myvmteam.com. So I was able to go in and listen to the replay. I got to start with #1 which was the first one I missed. I consider this a miracle as I really thought I had missed out on all this this information, so this was really unexpected. It is so good to be able to pick up from the beginning and go forward. The lesson was outstanding and I learned all about our team, what we are all about, where we have been and where we are going. This is really quite exciting. If anyone needs to learn the internet from the ground up, they should tune in. Google Me Carole

New Things All The Time
Today I viewed the YouTube by Stephanie - made easy. I added -Add This to my blog - WauLau. Done deal. Stephani made it really easy. Also, added Html - See my butterfly? I just viewed the YouTube by Stephanie, http://youtube.com/watch?v=_3ex3V4LP4A. What fun is this? What can I say Steph - this is great!!! My Little World
My VMTeam group. Well off we go on another adventure. In my mind, there is a family circle, friends circle and business circle - each one of them is a small world to every individual. Today, I learned that on the internet there is a whole BIG world out there. Billions and Billions of people, problems and miracles all at the same time. Each time you post a blog, you don't know where it will land. Hopefully in a good place. You can start in one blog area and may end up on the other side of anywhere. How cool is that?
Also, today I have to tell you of a miracle for me. TODAY, Wednesday, March 12, 2008, I reached 1/2 of my first bench goal of a weight loss of 20 pounds. On January 15, 2008, I started a wellness program and my first bench goal was to loss 40 pounds. Today is a milestone. This is from someone that didn't think that was possible. Are you a Beginner?
Hi Bloggers. My name is Carole Percifield and I am starting a blog named ask Carole Percifield.
This is going to be about my adventures on the trail of learning the different traits of the internet. Are you a beginner like me? Have you had all the problems I have had? Well let’s do this together.
I retired 4 years ago. After traveling and having the time of my life, I decided it was time to supplement my income as I had traveled all my funds away. Now to look at some way to supplement my income so I don’t have to go back to a full time job. You see, I just don’t have time for that.
I started last year really getting interested in different ways to have funds fly my way. Well, there was the survey method - not so good. There were all sorts of things on the internet that wanted you to invest in their ware, like courses, building you a website, advertising, etc. etc. etc. I, Carole Percifield, went through all of them. While getting things together for my taxes this year, I realized how much I was suppose to learn. My total earnings to date are $40.27. My education was also about that much. Seems to me I am on the wrong track.
About 2 months ago I joined Friendswin, a Social Media Marketing site. I got some friends, but the main thing that I accomplished was when I joined Friendswin University, a Virtual Marketing Team. At first, I thought OK, another scam - but I went to every class after I joined and boy have I learned some things. I think for the first time I am on track and focused.
