Today I listened to Jim Cobb, Ask Jim Cobb, on Blog Talk Radio. His guest was Joey Kissimmee and Jim suggested we google him. I did and his name is all over the place. I also googled the other speakers and guess what? They are there - top of google.
He talked about blogs - a couple are: http://myvmteam.ning.com & http://socialnetworkmarketing.wetpaint.com.
He talked about tools, such as http://tinyurl.com/2gvygd. This is a tool that puts your name at the top of Google.
There are a lot of free things on the internet that we can secure. Boy I wish I would have known that earlier. I looked at my expenditures last year - FREE would have been GOOD.
In conclusion of this entry, I ran across this inspirational statement about ACTION: "Success is achieved by those that try and keep trying" by W.Clement Stone. This is something we need to keep in mind.

This is a New Day
In my VMTeam class today, we learned there is such a thing as Blog Radio. Now I have heard of Radio, TV, Teleconferences and You Tube. Now there is a Blog Radio. We have gone from not knowing how to write on someone's blog, to setting up our own blog to listening to blogs. Is this terrific or what?
When I read my horoscope today, it said "You don't have to be satisfied with the status quo. If you honestly believe you can improve something, don't hold back. Chances are what you do will be quite innovative." Now isn't that ironic? Goes right along with what we are learning.
Remember - This is the first day of the rest of our lives.

New Things All The Time
Today I viewed the YouTube by Stephanie - made easy. I added -Add This to my blog - WauLau. Done deal. Stephani made it really easy. Also, added Html - See my butterfly? I just viewed the YouTube by Stephanie, http://youtube.com/watch?v=_3ex3V4LP4A. What fun is this? What can I say Steph - this is great!!! What Did We Learn Today?
OK - Here we go. We are off to sign up for more listings. This is great to get these leads where we can go to show our ads. The easier, the better, I say. There are so many different sites on the internet, a person doesn't know where to begin. I think this site, http://tinyurl.com/3e2flo, will be fun. At least I am going to give it a try. If it doesn't work, I will let you know on another day. They say they can send out thousands of leads. I am anxious to see.
This Virtual Marketing thing is really new to me. I am meeting a lot of people on the Social media marketing net and I am learning to seize the day from sites like http://theuniverseandyou-bleuet.blogspot.com/. I was just working along when I came across this site and it made me stop and realize we need to stop and smell the roses once in a while. This is good for our well being.

My Little World
My VMTeam group. Well off we go on another adventure. In my mind, there is a family circle, friends circle and business circle - each one of them is a small world to every individual. Today, I learned that on the internet there is a whole BIG world out there. Billions and Billions of people, problems and miracles all at the same time. Each time you post a blog, you don't know where it will land. Hopefully in a good place. You can start in one blog area and may end up on the other side of anywhere. How cool is that?
Also, today I have to tell you of a miracle for me. TODAY, Wednesday, March 12, 2008, I reached 1/2 of my first bench goal of a weight loss of 20 pounds. On January 15, 2008, I started a wellness program and my first bench goal was to loss 40 pounds. Today is a milestone. This is from someone that didn't think that was possible. Like I say, miracles happen every day! With that I will leave you on an UP note! Have a Great day! Googleme Carole.

Today's Class
Well, are you ready for all the good things we learned today? We learned ppc (pay per click). How about that - the initials ppc can get you all sorts of responses. How great is that?
Also, our great mentor, Stephanie, talked about our bloggs. How this will affect our future and how we will meet so many more people. It's is amazing how far around the world our words will reach just by putting them down on the internet. Who will I touch today? Will my words effect anyone?
Those are the big questions. I can't wait until my next class Wednesday to see what else I will learn. This is so inspiring to see how the internet world comes together. I will end this blog with the words that really touched me today - COOL BEANS!

Join Me Today
OK, here we go down the slippery slope of training. Yeap, we have learned step by step how to do blogs, Aweber and Roboform. There is a lot to virtual marketing. I am having a little problem with Roboform, but one of myvmteam mates has offered to help. I am having a hard time rapping my head around all the different angles to get them to come together. I have faith that this will come in time as I use it more. I have learned to use free advertisers sites - this is also giving me a little challenge as some of the sites don't offer the services I want to advertise. Are you a Beginner?
Hi Bloggers. My name is Carole Percifield and I am starting a blog named ask Carole Percifield.
This is going to be about my adventures on the trail of learning the different traits of the internet. Are you a beginner like me? Have you had all the problems I have had? Well let’s do this together.
I retired 4 years ago. After traveling and having the time of my life, I decided it was time to supplement my income as I had traveled all my funds away. Now to look at some way to supplement my income so I don’t have to go back to a full time job. You see, I just don’t have time for that.
I started last year really getting interested in different ways to have funds fly my way. Well, there was the survey method - not so good. There were all sorts of things on the internet that wanted you to invest in their ware, like courses, building you a website, advertising, etc. etc. etc. I, Carole Percifield, went through all of them. While getting things together for my taxes this year, I realized how much I was suppose to learn. My total earnings to date are $40.27. My education was also about that much. Seems to me I am on the wrong track.
About 2 months ago I joined Friendswin, a Social Media Marketing site. I got some friends, but the main thing that I accomplished was when I joined Friendswin University, a Virtual Marketing Team. At first, I thought OK, another scam - but I went to every class after I joined and boy have I learned some things. I think for the first time I am on track and focused.
